ABSTRACT
The IASC Guidelines on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (IASC, 2007) issued the operational guidance to establishing consistency in complementary interventions—it recommends “what to do”—while ethics refer to “how to do it right” as well as “what not to do,” and outlines the role of ethics in their implementation. The offered exercises provide opportunity to practice using the operational and ethical guidelines to assure that GMH projects are designed and implemented in an ethical manner, as well as evaluating the consequences should they not.
