ABSTRACT
This chapter is devoted to a discussion of the empirical research conducted by the authors. It presents the procedure of empirical research, the applied research methods and a description of the enterprise selected for the research and its management systems. The content of the chapter allows the reader to become familiar with the way the empirical research was conducted and the methods used in it, and provides insight into the organisation under examination.
