ABSTRACT

Humans’ fight against different pathogens and disease-causing agents continues. While the many disorders do not have any treatment, there are many for which conventional methods have undesired side effects. Computer aided drug design (CADD) involving in silico screening of leads and targets is enabling the design of new and novel drugs, few of which are in clinical trials. In this chapter, we discuss the different aspects and applications of CADD in targeting human disorders.
