ABSTRACT

Adolescents are defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as people aged between 10 and 19 years. The Lancet Commission on Adolescents 2016 analysis used a range of 10 to 24 years of age to cover the groups defined by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) as adolescents (ages 10–19 years), youths (ages 15–24 years), and young people (ages 10–24 years) [1].
