ABSTRACT
The use of strategic environmental assessment (SEA) has increased rapidly
in recent years, not only in number but also in modes of application. It is
important to understand developments in introducing or improving the use
of SEA in countries and institutions. At the Prague SEA Conference, the
dissemination of SEA information and how this can be facilitated through
SEA knowledge centres was discussed. This chapter reviews the status of SEA
knowledge centres and documents their services, users and aspects of interest.
Specific details on the type of information and guidance available from selected
SEA knowledge centres can be found in the boxes included in this chapter.
