ABSTRACT
This is recognized in the British Building Regulations and Standards which require evidence that the building services have been commissioned properly and the as-built performance has been assessed. These also require that a log book be provided giving information on the building services, together with an Energy Performance Certificate. The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (2007) require a health and safety file to be produced that includes operating and maintenance instructions for all relevant plant, equipment and services.
