ABSTRACT
The previous seven chapters built the foundation upon which the practice of descriptive and inferential statistics is based-basic measurement concepts, describing research findings statistically, elementary probability, and the theory of estimation. With the foundation laid, we can now build the rest of the house knowing that it will not collapse. But we will add to this foundation as we progress through this book as necessary, much liking adding an addition to a house you’ve outgrown.
