ABSTRACT

The vast majority of doctoral programs specify a single date each year by which

applications must be received. The due dates typically fall somewhere between December

1 and March 1 for entry into a program the following fall. A few doctoral programs have

application deadlines falling in March or April, and due dates for master’s programs tend

to be a little later than those for doctoral programs. Very few graduate programs offer

rolling deadlines (meaning that you can send in your application any time) or both fall

and spring admissions (meaning there are two deadlines each year).
