ABSTRACT
Using information gathered during focus group and telephone interviews, the preceding chapter identified critical challenges to economic development in Indian country, including those related to land, infrastructure, training, and financing issues. The interviews also summarized some of the efforts being made to address those constraints. This chapter presents a case study of economic development efforts in the Navajo Nation. considers housing challenges and responses on the Navajo Reservation.
