ABSTRACT

As in other forms of psychotherapy, privacy is required. The ideal room is one in which the members will feel comfortable and safe; in which there are no extremes of light or noise and where there will be no interruptions. The usual office of a therapist is sufficient, especially if there is some room to move about. If roleplaying is done in a group, the best arrangement is a circle or a semi-circle. Members should sit close to one another.
