ABSTRACT
THE WORLD 15 VERY DIFFERENT from when Peter Drucker wrote his seminal book predicting the entrepreneurial society in the 1980s: 11 globalisation has led to fierce competition and made the world smaller and organisations are flatter and increasingly collaborate externally. The pace of technological progress is accelerating and resulting in greater uncertainty. Climate change and growing concern over limited natural resources have emerged and led to the discipline of sustainability.
