ABSTRACT

Production of silver.—In the last 100 years (1831-1930), the world’s silver production was 10,659,157,000 ounces (table 7, page 261, and figure 3). In the same period, the production of gold amounted to 933,210,000 ounces (table 1, page 121). The production of silver was 11.4 times that of gold.
