The risk of meeting syndrome is very notable in every management team. The disease takes two extreme forms. In the more common form the management team meets so often that the attention of the members is all the time on preparations for the upcoming meeting. This means mostly planning and fine-tuning of one's own presentation. Once the meeting is over one has to start preparation for the next meeting. Meeting syndrome does not add to a sense of community as the thorough preparation needs to be done alone and this of course reduces possibilities for discussion.
