ABSTRACT

Novophobia is a dangerous state of fear, if it appears in a management team. It is a caveman type of fear of new and strange things, and it "compels" you to make safe choices. It suggests that it is best to do so as you have always been doing, or in very bold cases, to do the same as your competitor does. There is a belief that experiments always have costs, so it is better to stay on the beaten path and think the same way as before. Novophobia helped humans in unhurried prehistoric times to stay alive, but in a modern changing world it causes denial of renewal and leads to the path of destruction.
