Resource blindness is in most management team cases blind faith in one's own resources. The first symptom is fairly elevated optimism, so the team often sets goals that are over optimistic and beyond its possibilities. The management does not understand its own resources defect in proportion to the complexity of the objective. Resource blindness can also prevent the team from seeing how resources are misallocated and sometimes results in even a realistic goal not being achieved. Without proper treatment the consequences are fatal, for example, a fairly healthy business may be given over to cheap amputation.
