ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will describe and analyse Venice’s e-governance strategies. We will start in section 2 with a general context description of the enormous challenges that the city of Venice faces. This puts the city’s e-governance efforts into perspective. In section 3 we summarize the city’s ICT strategy. In sections 4, 5 and 6 we analyse the issues of content, access and infrastructure respectively. Section 7 concludes.
