ABSTRACT
You wouldn’t let someone who is not a doctor of medicine operate on your heart. You wouldn’t ride in a plane flown by someone who is not a pilot. This is because it’s unwise to put lives in the hands of folks who aren’t specifically trained to look after those lives. Yet there are plenty of non-experts (non-educators, non-researchers, etc.) talking about what’s needed in education.
