ABSTRACT
In 1999, the movie Office Space came out in theaters brilliantly depicting the everyday work life of the “typical” employee who works in an office and hates his or her job. The movie’s sympathetic portrayal of employees who despise their workplace is symbolic of “white-collar” personnel who begrudgingly show up uninspired and lacking desire to fulfill their responsibilities each and every day 1 .
