ABSTRACT
Some of the legislation relating to urban property has already been described in the section on the urban market relating to new building (see, for example, Ch. 3.1). Of particular importance is the system of building permits. There is also a substantial body of legislation relating to the use of existing property, to be described here. Most of this relates specifically to housing.
