Introduction

Meet the Parents was inspired by our combined 40-plus years of working in education journalism, during which we have interviewed and met hundreds of heads, teachers and governors – and, indeed, parents. A recurring theme in those conversations in more recent years was the challenges schools face in finding ways to engage parents in order to support children’s learning and well-being.
