ABSTRACT

We are now moving our analysis onto the different types of behaviour that can constitute cybercrime. It was noted in Chapter 1 that there are numerous types of cybercrime but that one of the most common is where technology is targeted. The most obvious example of this is ‘hacking’, which will be discussed extensively in this chapter, but so too will other aspects of this behaviour, including the production and distribution of malware as this undoubtedly targets technology.
