ABSTRACT

Storage is an integral part of the interview process. In the first instance you need to upload, order and catalogue your files. This will enable you to use the material in support of your desired outputs. Long-term storage does not come next; it should be considered before you record your first interview. Your interviewees have a right to know where their account will ultimately reside, so that they can give informed consent, and you have a duty to safeguard our rich oral heritage.
