ABSTRACT
In previous chapters, we looked at how today’s production pipelines are structured. In this chapter, we will look at how and why those structures may change in future. We will explore how new datainterchange formats and methods of virtual computing are enabling companies to collaborate more eff ectively; how new workfl ows like virtual production are linking pre-visualization and post-production more closely together; and how new media like high-frame-rate cinema and games as a service aff ect the studios tasked with creating them.
