ABSTRACT

Having seen, then, the level of consciousness, the Being, needed to practise transpersonal therapy, let us move on now to consider the Doing, the actual practice of the work. In the previous edition of this book, a number of specific therapists were dealt with from this point of view, but since then some excellent work has appeared along these lines, such as for example Brant Cortright’s useful compendium (1997). It has therefore been possible to omit these specific workers in the field, and to spend more time on newer material.
