ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we summarize different ways that individual learning and continu ous learning occur in organizations. We begin by considering the meaning of con tinuous learning. We then describe the difference between “learning about” and “learning how.” Next, we present three ways individuals learn: adaptation, gener ation, and transformation. Finally, we consider the feedback portion of the learn ing process, without which learning cannot occur.
