Dealing with school can be one of the most important parts of your recovery. If you can get the people at school to be on your side and to help you with your recovery, it can make a big difference. If, on the other hand, they don’t know what is going on, you might find that they can be quite unsympathetic, which can make things difficult. This section will help you (1) decide how much school work is right for you at the moment and (2) get the people at school on your side as part of your recovery. We strongly suggest you get your parents to read this section too. They will need to help you communicate what you need to the teachers at your school.
