ABSTRACT

For this Handbook, our choice has been to put more emphasis on Corporate Entrepreneurship as an internal process rather than as a firm-level orientation (cf. Chapter 2). Part 2 of this book is indeed dedicated to describing and analysing in detail such processes. We have also decided to emphasise the deliberate actions and devices adopted by companies in order to favour the Corporate Entrepreneurship process. Part 3 of this book consists of a thorough account and analysis of how companies encourage Corporate Entrepreneurship in practice and the managerial and organisational tools they put in place to do so.
