ABSTRACT
This paper sets out to discuss and analyse the objectives of the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) and to assess its performance to date in achieving them. It is divided into three sections. The first and main section deals with the objectives of the AMF. first in the Arab sphere, then in the international sphere and, finally, in the organisational sphere. Section II provides a brief comparative analysis of the AMF and the IMF, while Section III contains concluding remarks.
