ABSTRACT
In Chapter 7, the symptoms and underlying causes of problems to be addressed in a program/project evaluation were discussed. Moreover, a set of beliefs about how a program/project works or why a problem occurs is crucial. Assumptions about resources and activities and how these are expected to lead to intended outcomes are often referred to as program theory, and a logic model is a useful tool for describing program theory (McLaughlin & Jordan, 2010).
