This final chapter is rather different from the ones which have preceded it. Whereas they were concerned primarily with an exposition and evaluation of the leading ideas in Marx's own thought, this chapter is concerned with something rather different. For in it I shall analyse what I take to be Marx's most important and influential intellectual legacy.
