ABSTRACT
Wisseloord’s resident American, Darcy graduated with honours from NYU’s Music Technology programme. She began her career at Sony Music Studios in New York City in the classical department, later focusing her skills on mastering and broadening her musical scope to include all genres, from historical reissues to cutting-edge surround releases. After 20 years in the big city, she made the jump to Europe, accepting a position as senior mastering engineer at Galaxy Studios in Belgium. In 2010, Darcy became part of the team of adventurers dedicated to the revival of Wisseloord, where she currently serves as their director of mastering.
