ABSTRACT
The FCS ~ PMDS approach to a playing athlete in games was first proposed by Lebed and Bar-Eli (2014) and is used here (see Chapter 5) to explain the reactive ~ proactive dialectical character of human complex system adaptation. As was mentioned above, an intentional action that perturbs an opponent’s resistance is the outcome of a flow of FCS, i.e., it is a result of exclusively proactive dynamics initiated by a human free-will complex system intent on reaching specific goals that reflect self-determined motivational desires (see Chapter 5, Figure 5.3). Thus we concluded that forceful initiative is a precondition for winning.
