ABSTRACT

In 2010, a Conservative–Liberal Democrat Coalition government was formed. It remained in office until May 2015 when it was replaced by a Conservative administration led initially by David Cameron and then, following his resignation after Brexit, Teresa May who called a general election in 2017. This concluding chapter offers an overview approach to criminal justice policy that was adopted by post-2010 governments and the implications that these hold for the future landscape of criminal justice policy.
