ABSTRACT

We are coming to the end of the 10-week recovery programme. Before moving on to this chapter on relapse prevention, review the work done so far. You might reread the preliminary readings in the opening part of this book. You might revisit some of the exercises. You could go back to the provisional sex plan and consider, in the light of what you now know, whether it should be changed. You could have another go at the trauma egg and the cycle of addiction or the section on exit strategies. Although this self-help recovery programme is described as a 10-week programme, you are in charge. You can take as much time as necessary to complete it. In due course, you can do it all over again. Approach it in whatever way works best for you.
