ABSTRACT
This case study is based on a programme delivered by Brathay Trust to support young women at risk of sexual exploitation. The chapter describes how and why the young women found themselves in this situation and highlights the importance of awareness of the structures that surrounded the young women as the catalyst for change. The inclusion of a residential within the programme exemplifies how this can be used to step ‘away’ from everyday contexts to gain a different perspective.
