ABSTRACT
I have been pointing out to various segments of the food
industry that it should be well informed about its water
supply, its purity, and possible sources of contamination.
I was well aware that there would be changes in laws, rules,
regulations, and philosophies, and that these in turn would
affect the food industries. Unfortunately, there were too
many other problems to think about so that, until very recent
ly, little consideration was given to this matter. Today,
however, as I see it, the picture is entirely different.
