Domestic violence

Mura Kosker Sorority was now incorporated under theQueensland Associations Act. Its office was in Douglas Street, rented off Mrs Phyllis Ahloy of See Hop & Co.

Together with the management committee, I set up six programs

to be managed by our organisation: the Mura Kosker Sorority

Domestic Violence Program, the Home and Community and Care

Program, the OPAP Program for the aged, the Emergency Relief Fund

for people in crises, RAATSICC program for childcare and the Special

Projects Program to raise funds for women to travel and attend

women’s meetings State-wide, Nationally and Internationally.
