ABSTRACT
I cannot speak too highly…of the Special Night Squads … organized and trained by Captain OC WINGATE, Royal Artillery, from my Sta , who has shown great resource, enterprise and courage in leading and controlling their activities. ese Squads have been supplemented by Jewish supernumeraries who have done excellent work in combination with the British personnel. e story of the inception and gradual development of this form of activity, and its successful results, provide a great tribute to the initiative and ingenuity of all concerned.
