Democrats indeed won majorities in the House and Senate, storming back from the political wilderness to take control of both houses of Congress for the first time since Newt Gingrich’s revolutionaries uprooted an entrenched Democratic regime in 1994. How much did the netroots contribute to this outcome? The evidence suggests quite a lot.
