ABSTRACT
The developmental interviewing methodology employed in this book centers on collaboration between an expert in human development and an expert in a discipline. The parameters of the role of the developmentalist in this collaboration are clearly pointed out in the rubrics for developmental interviewing in Chapter 3. But the exploration of how to use modes of practice just begins there. They become sustaining only when they facilitate collaborative learning or performance.
