ABSTRACT
Acts of Parliament are of unquantifiable importance. There are many thousands of them – Parliament produces more than 2,000 pages of new statutory law a year – and there is no limit on the law that can be made by statute. In 2015, Parliament passed 32 new Acts which added over 350 sections to UK law.
