ABSTRACT
Lesson B is given to Beth. Beth is in the 22-29 age bracket and currently in the third and final year of her degree programme as a ‘combined honours’ student, whose degree incorporates Music and Social Science. Beth has been studying with Timothy throughout her time at SEU and is now preparing for her final examination-recital, in a lesson scheduled to be 45 minutes long but which actually runs for an hour. The discussion of Beth’s lesson will be divided among spatial, performance and verbal behaviour.
