ABSTRACT
The title of this chapter is intended to have a double meaning: Quick planned to re-found metaphysics on the ground of faith, and to show that faith is not rationally groundless. What emerges is something like a cumulative case for faith in reason and the reasonableness of Christian faith, though he probably did not intend his argument to work in a cumulative fashion, since it is spread out over a number of different works.
