ABSTRACT
There is no coherent thinking about fraud as a specific action perpetrated by a specific occupational group. I had to take broader theories into account but none could answer, until my own investigation, the question why do senior managers commit fraud? The answer depended on which school of thought an expert belonged to in order to have a response to the why and how.
