ABSTRACT
In this final chapter, we will analyse the substance and nature of Malta’s Europeanization experience in the first decade of membership as well as addressing our three, central themes, namely what factors stimulated the principal changes seen in Malta, what were the main mediating factors which conditioned the nature of Malta’s domestic response to EU membership and whether Malta’s Europeanization experience helps explain why the country defies many of the stereotypes associated with other Mediterraean MSs.
