ABSTRACT
As the spatial mobility of the elderly population and the working age population influences the age structures of places and rates of population ageing, so to do the spatial movements of young people. In this chapter, we focus on young populations and investigate the complexities in the changing spatial distribution of this age group and the implications of this for population ageing.
