ABSTRACT

An apparently fresh approach to blending evangelism and worship captured the attention of many in the latter decades of the twentieth century. Its “seekersensitive” strategy found its fullest expression in prominent megachurch ministries, and exerted a great inuence on evangelical churches of all sizes. ree of the books in our pool emerge out of this high-prole “seeker church” movement. Of all the emphasis groups treated here, this evangelistic worship literature is perhaps the most well known-as well as the most vigorously debated.
