ABSTRACT
In this penultimate chapter attention re-turns to the central issue of ‘applied visual sociology’, in which this section clarifies the research concept that forms the main title of this book. Indeed, the term has been used regularly throughout this work with limited clarification of what the applied research model actually involves. As such, the reader has thus far possibly been forced to draw their own conclusions regarding the definition of the expression ‘applied visual sociology’.
