ABSTRACT

Several types of hatred are identified in this part. As we’ll consider, with all types of hatred two conditions prevail. First the hater has ill-will for the hated. We’ll refer to this condition of hatred as a ‘principle of harm or ill-will.’ Second, in all types of hatred there is a wholesale shifting of blame to the hated individual or group. We’ll call this second principle the ‘principle of blame’ or ‘the extra-vituperative principle’.
