ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the lives of the women after they left the refuge and considers especially how they felt about the different possibilities which were open to them. Why did so many make further attempts at reconciliation? Did women keep in touch with their husbands even though they were not living together? What did they like and dislike about life as a single-parent family?
